About Melissa Sullivent
Melissa originally came to Denver to attend Law School at the University of Denver. Since then she has lived here off and on for about fifteen years. She spent most of her career working in the Aerospace Industry, managing and negotiating government contracts, but recently left to spend more time with her family and pursue her passion; real estate. She appreciates that Denver is developing internally by revitalizing and reinventing itself. Melissa loves real estate and design and enjoys seeing older homes return to their original glory, but is also excited about all the new development happening in established areas. She has remodeled a historic 1920’s bungalow and a mid-century modern home and has a keen appreciation for quality on any budget. Melissa is an avid researcher and loves the process of connecting clients with the home of their dreams. Melissa has been a resident of the Cory-Merrill neighborhood for the past 5 years, where she lives with her partner, two kids and two dogs. Melissa and her family support the Denver Dumb Friends League and enjoy the many Theater and Arts opportunities Denver provides.
What Clients Are Saying About Melissa…
Q&A With Melissa...
Where do you LIVE?
I live in Cory-Merrill, close to the junction of Bonnie Brae and Belcaro. These neighborhoods compliment each other nicely and we love walking the dogs around the beautiful, tree-lined streets. It is urban and very convenient, but still family oriented, with one of the best schools in Colorado.
Why Real Estate... Aren't There Enough Agents On The Planet Already?
Real estate is the perfect marriage between my business and legal education and my passion for architecture and design. Being able to utilize my skills to represent clients buying and selling homes is very personal and rewarding.
What Music Is Currently In Your playlists?
We are an eclectic household. With two young teens, who are dancers and perform in musicals, we listen to everything from pop, hip-hop and even Broadway show tunes. But growing up in Oklahoma, I remind everyone that I was country, when country wasn’t cool.
What Cause Gets Your Time And Money?
We support the Denver Dumb Friends League and Denver School of the Arts because we are fans of arts education and animal lovers.
Give It Up. What Local Restaurant Is Your Best Kept Secret?
La Loma! We love Mexican food and only found this restaurant three years ago. It is traditional Mexican and seemingly homemade. I still find people who have never heard of this place.
